The Intergenerational Dialogue: what can the generations learn from each other?
We will focus on identifying and exploring the different priorities and concerns of different generations and experiences in the HIV and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) movement. Where is there alignment and where is there difference?
Through a talk show and panel format we will explore the journeys of current leaders in this space and the aspirations for young and emerging leaders. The AIDS response is ever evolving; more young people living with HIV must sustain all the gains of the AIDS movement; what can be learnt from those seasoned activists with experience, and what should be ignored?
Let’s draw out the tensions, are they real, are they imagined? How do we overcome them?
