Speaker: Sbongile Nkosi
Sbongile Nkosi is the new Co-Executive Director at GNP+. She is a Black Feminist with over 10 years of experience in journalism, public policy, advocacy campaigning, and movement building. Sbongile has held both journalist and management positions with reputable South African organisations such as Health-e-News, Treatment Action Campaign, and Mail & Guardian. She has recently also consulted for media development agencies and global health organisations such as the Global Fund. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on the intersectionality between gender, health, and race. She holds a Master’s Degree in Globalisation, Business, and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at Sussex University.
