Sungano Bondayi joined Zvandiri in 2005, starting as a care recipient and advancing to Knowledge, Evidence, and Innovations Officer. Sungano champions digital communication platforms to improve information accessibility and reduce misinformation among peers and clients. Passionate about storytelling, she mentors young people in creating books, films, music, digital stories, and artwork. She has published articles locally and globally, edited Zvandiri Magazine, and reported as a member of the Key Correspondents’ network of citizen journalists on on marginalised groups affected by HIV and their access to health. Sungano is committed to the meaningful engagement of young people and has produced advocacy projects to amplify their voice including the music video ‘This is Me’ and the Zvandiri Radio show.
